Why we built it
Small Business OS started from a simple frustration: the people who work the hardest to keep a small business alive have the worst tools to do it with. Enterprise software is built for enterprises. Everything else is a pile of single-purpose apps that don’t talk to each other.
So the owner becomes the integration layer — remembering who’s off next week, which invoice went out, whether the checklist got done, what that new rule means. It works, until it doesn’t.
We think the smallest businesses deserve the same thing the biggest ones have: one thoughtful place where people, operations, approvals, and finances live together — and where opening the app tells you what needs you, instead of asking you to go find it.

Small doesn't mean simple
A five-person shop juggles the same people, money, compliance, and operations a big company does — just without the staff, the software budget, or the time. The work is real. The tools should be too.
One place beats twelve
Most owners run their business across a notebook, a group chat, a spreadsheet, and their own memory. Every seam between those tools is where things fall through. We'd rather have one place that holds it all.
The phone is the office

Educate, don't exclude
Paperwork and rules shouldn't gatekeep who gets to run a business. We explain what things mean and let you keep moving — the setup comes from your own answers, not a wall of forms.
