Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
Small Business OS is a product of Haro LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Small Business OS app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to write it in plain language.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us. When you create an account we collect your name and email. When you set up a business you add details like the business name, your role, and the people on your team. As you use the app you create content — tasks, expenses, documents, time entries, and similar records.
- Information from signing in. If you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, we receive basic profile information from that provider (like your name and email) to create or connect your account. We never receive your password for that provider.
- Information collected automatically. Like most software, we collect limited technical data needed to operate the service reliably and securely — for example, log and device information and basic usage events.
How we use your information
- To provide the service and the features you ask for.
- To keep your account and your business’s data secure.
- To operate, maintain, and improve Small Business OS, and to fix problems.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and important changes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you create to advertise to you.
Who can see your business's data
Your business’s data is isolated from every other business on the platform, and access inside your business is scoped by role: owners and managers see more, and employees see their own work and what’s been shared with them. We enforce this in the backend, not just in the app’s screens.
AI features
Some features use AI to help you — for example, reading a document you upload or modeling a scenario. When these features run, the relevant content is sent to a vetted AI provider to produce the result. We only enable providers we’ve approved for this purpose, and the feature stays off until such a provider is configured. AI output is assistance, not professional advice.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers to run the service — for example, hosting, our database, and the AI providers described above. They process data on our behalf under agreements that require them to protect it, and only to the extent needed to provide their service.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices
- You can view and update your account information at any time.
- You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing us.
- If you were invited to a business by an employer, some of your work records belong to that business; we’ll help you and the business owner sort out any request.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls scoped to each business and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Children
Small Business OS is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
